The Guardians of the Marvel Galaxy are in about a month. The fans have already been burned by the Marvel Games of Square Enix, so some can be skeptical, but there are big differences between the games that show that things will have a little differently.
Our practical review of galaxy guards gave a promising demonstration of what the entire game could achieve with its mixture of action, humor and history. While players will only play as Star-Lord throughout the game, it gives the story a coherent perspective.
When the guards are in the fire of the action, the essence of teamwork really reflects, even when you only control one character. Other team members have capabilities that are useful and eliminating enemies more easily. There is a combat sequence called Huddle, which pauses in action by giving guardians a motivation and boost of statistics.
Between missions, the guards returning to Milano, which serves as a hub. Here, Star-Lord can improve its equipment and capabilities, as well as interact with Drax, Gamora, Groot and Rocket, which we all really want to see.
The original strip contains a wonderful mix of original music and emblematic songs from the 80s, for which galaxy guards are known. The pop culture of the 1980s plays an important role in creating style and the tone of the game, just as it did in MCU movies.
